This project, we will be designing a Neighbourhood Learning Centre at USJ14 Park. The site is located within the lush greenery of USJ14 Park and is surrounded mainly by mid and lowrise residential. Students are tasked to identify, analyse, and synthesize the context into their design
solution. Students will have to take note of the characteristics and needs of the community of users to expand and enrich their design solutions for Project 1C: USJ14 Neighbourhood Learning Centre. For project p1a we were ask to design a new park plan for usj 14 park.
REFLECTION:
I've discovered that teamwork is crucial for our project, as we've been organized into groups to propose a model and boards supporting both concentric and linear forms. Our idea is to integrate both building structures on a single site, emphasizing the connection between these two elements. The most significant lesson I've gained from this project is the importance of focusing on the distinctive characteristics of the location. Instead of attempting to force a narrative, I've learned to tailor our approach to highlight what makes the location unique.
